Car game number 1

Forget about the iPads and iPhones, an absolute classic has to be I Spy. Just in case you’ve been living under a rock somewhere, I Spy is the classic game where you have to guess the object that the person has seen, the only clue you get is, ‘I Spy with my little eye something beginning with….’ Taking it in turns everyone gets a go at guessing the object and the winner gets to go next.

Car game number 2

This game might have a few different names and a few different set-ups but the premise remains the same, it is a memory game for all ages.

It can start with any setting but basically it goes around each person in the car one-by-one and they have to start the sentence, ‘I went to the shop and I bought a …….’ Starting with the letter A. Once you’ve inserted your object the next person has to repeat the last persons response and add their own beginning with the next letter in the alphabet, the next person then has to repeat all responses before adding their own. This game keeps going until someone forgets all the objects.

Car game number 3

The YES or NO game. A person has to think of an animal and the only clues they can give to what the animal is are by answering questions with a simple yes or no. Each person in the car takes it in turns to ask a question, or they can forfeit their question should they want to guess. The person who guesses correctly gets to go next.

Car game number 4

This is a game that can be played with many themes, so you have hours of entertainment ahead of you. If for example your theme is singers, the first person might name a singer like Madonna, the next person then has to think of a singer with a name that begins with the last letter of the last name, in this example it would be A, so Adele. This keeps going until someone cannot think of anyone.

Car Game number 5

Each person in the car chooses a colour car they wish to spot, once everyone has their colour it’s all eyes on the road. First one to spot ten cars in the colour they have chosen wins.
