It’s that time of year again. The silly season. Shopping malls filled with beautifully adorned trees and glittering lights. Santa waiting to hear the wishes of hopeful children while parents pull silly faces trying to make babies smile for that coveted first Santa photo… Along with all of these displays of festivity are the much loved Christmas Carols held annually at Kurrawa Park in Broadbeach. They are being presented by The Law Shack on Saturday December 12 from 3pm.
The afternoon is sure to get you in the spirit of the season with great kid’s activities and a talented lineup of entertainment.
The kids activities will begin from 3pm in Kurrawa Park. There is so much fun to be had with a jumping castle, jumbo slide, family photos inside an inflatable snow globe, face painting and more. Having fun is hungry work so be sure to grab a bite to eat from one of the many food retailers who will be set up. Jamroc Jamaican Jerk Hut, The Coffee Lady, Aloha Shaved Ice, Mr Supersoft and Foremans Chips will all be ready satisfy your hunger.
Have your singing voice ready! The Broadbeach Christmas Carols begin from 6pm. 2015 has a great lineup of performers. The always incredible Danielle Everett and the ever talented Martin Crewes will perform your favourite holiday jingles along with special appearances from Santa and his elves, NBN Television’s Big Dog, 102.9 Hot Tomato’s Flan & Emily Jade, Judith Molnar, Signature Dance Group, Steffi Burns, Savannah Tindiglia, Gold Coast Youth Orchestra and the Gold Coast Choir.
The night will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display!
Entry to the Broadbeach Christmas Carols is FREE and is a great event for all ages.
