It’s on the 2nd May 2015 and 3rd May 2015 at Pratten Park, near the Oasis Centre, Broadbeach, QLD, 4218 .The Gold Coast Renaissance Faire is a lively re-creation of a 16th century Elizabethan country fair, with reliable entertainment, costumes, arts, games and food. The Renaissance faire is a place where all participants of society came for business and pleasure from country and citizens, brokers, adventurers, traveling entertainers, to royalty. This Faire’s three stages will include short plays, traditional dances and music of the period. Strolling performers will mingle with the visitors, addressing them in the manner of the Renaissance period, personalizing the visitors’ experience of the Faire over 50 costumed entertainers delight and amuse you all day long with stage comedies, spirited swordplay, and superb court music, Royal processions, dazzling dances, children’s entertainment and more!
Join in the fun and pageantry! Play a game of skill, or take aim with bow and arrow and win a Queen’s favors. For children, a trip to the Faire is like moving into a fairy tale picture book. There is no better way to learn about history.
