The Gold Coast is in the process of establishing its newest markets and fun hub, “NightQuarter”, set to launch on Saturday 28 November. They will be open every Friday and Saturday Night from 4-10pm. NightQuarter is a one hectare site opposite the Helensvale Train Station, comprised of eight unique precincts that are fashioned from upcycled shipping containers. The idea was conceived by the food and hospitality dream team Ian Van de Woude and Michelle Christoe of Food Focus Australia.
NightQuarter will combine retail, culture, food and entertainment, drawing inspiration from shopping destinations around the globe.
“The bazaars of Istanbul, the piazza in Italy, hawker streets in Asia and countries around the world have these great places to congregate, support merchants and share culture. NightQuarter will bring the energy, the discovery, the liveliness of these places to the Northern Gold Coast,” says Managing Director, Ian Van der Woude.
