We have all heard the stories of extra hidden fees sometimes being up over $100 or $200 when you return your car to the hire company. I can think of nothing worse after a lovely holiday than being slugged extra money that you were not prepared for from your car hire company.
Well, there is an old saying that there are exceptions to every rule.. and we are the exception for this one!
What your charges will be from us, you will know before you get behind the wheel – nothing hidden, all details provided before you go out of our driveway. What we don’t include in our charges is almost as impressive as what our costs are; free airport pickups (between 8am-5pm), no charge for a second driver on agreement, no admin fees and no airport levies, no surcharge for drivers under 25 (sorry – we cannot hire to drivers who are under 21). We also do not charge a registration recovery tax, or payment by credit card surcharges.
We don’t offer an Excess Reduction Waiver as most other rental companies do. Our excess is already at a low price. We charge only $750 for 25 to 85 year olds and $1950 for 21 to 24 year olds. This is for full comprehensive insurance which covers single and multi-vehicle accidents, fire, theft, hail and tyre and windscreen damage. However, if you have organised your own Travel Insurance Policy, it may include rental vehicle excess cover, so please check your policy details.
We make it simple and easy to understand. No insurance waivers with confusing terms (CDW / LRW etc which can cost $20+ per day), no sneaky exclusions or hidden clauses, just full insurance cover with a low excess, giving you peace of mind and saving you money!
We mean it and it is true when we say we have cheap car hire. This does not mean our vehicles or our service to our customers is not up to standard. We maintain our fleet in excellent condition from the exterior and interior to the mechanical and the rubber on the road. You – our customers – are our bread and butter so we strive at all times to ensure that every time you use us the care and service you receive from anyone you deal with in our company is above reproach.
We guarantee that the price you are supplied at time of booking is the price you will pay.
The only variances to this would be charges out of our hands such as toll fees or traffic fines – these are unknown charges that you as the driver of the vehicle will be responsible for.
